About Creative Habitats 

Starting as a specialty company to fill the industry void in natural stone work and water features, Creative Habitats, Inc has grown into a full service landscape company offering design through implementation on small scale projects through full size site planning and development.

Creative Habitats mission is to provide excellence in the design process right through implementation of your landscape project. The design itself is an important process and probably the most important step in achieving a quality landscape. Our designers take the time to discover your goals and to develop them into exciting ways to use at your location.  

Creative Habitats, Inc. was established in 1992. Our principal employees, Scott Reynolds and Rick Tesch have a combined 70 years of industry experience. 

Scott Reynolds is the founder of Creative Habitats and our operations manager. He has 33 years of experience in design, stone work, water features and horticulture. He is a certified landscape professional in Minnesota and Massachusetts.  Scott has appeared on HGTV, Landscapers' Challenge, The Learning Channel, KARE 11 News, Channel 9 Morning News, Rebecca's Garden and Minnesota Bound.

Rick Tesch is our lead Landscape Designer. He has 37 years of experience in this field. He is a certified landscape professional and serves on the board of the Minnesota Landscape Design Awards Committee as Chairman.
